Welcome to Iconstyle.net. The Icon Style name and our customers mean everything to us. We pledge to treat our online customers with the same care and attentive service that we deliver at our New York City shop and are happy to personally guide and assist you with your purchase. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
2. OUR MERCHANDISE & SERVICES
Quality Assurance
Icon Style takes great pride in the quality and history of our merchandise, and our standard is built on the knowledge and experience of a dealer and jeweler with a degree in Fine Arts - Metalsmithing and decades of background in the field. We guarantee the authenticity of all our items and assure you that they will live up to the description posted. All gold jewelry is acid tested for purity. Stones are graded and counted by a certified gemologist. All gemstone weights are estimated based on measurement by a professional gemologist.
We polish and clean each piece based on design and age, therefore older antique or vintage pieces are sometimes cleaned without polishing to maintain a desirable patina. All items are pre-owned estate pieces that have only been refurbished as necessary to meet Icon Style’s high standard of quality and condition. We do our best to describe the condition and any wear to all of our vintage and antique items. The terms we use are from best to least: excellent, very good, good, and fair.
Excellent: If any, only the gentlest signs of age and wear. Any issues are barely perceptible, in many cases only with a jeweler's loupe.
Very Good: In great shape, with slight wear appropriate to the age of the piece. May have noted minor flaws that do not detract from its original beauty and wearability.
Good: Moderate signs of wear and age, with a handful of noted flaws, but totally wearable.
Fair: Visible and apparent signs of age and/or wear, and in a fragile state, but still desirable due to rarity.
All refurbishments are disclosed and have been done in such a way as to maintain the original integrity of the items.
Vintage Wear
Wear on vintage items can be unpredictable, for which reason we cannot accept returns or exchanges if an item becomes damaged after it has been received by the buyer. We try our best to ensure wearability of our products, or warn of delicate materials, but we cannot guarantee wearability, especially in antique items.
Photography
We do our best to accurately photograph all of our items. However, colors may vary depending on differences between your computer or phone screen and ours. Please note that all items are vintage and sold as is. If you would like additional details or photos of a product, please contact us.
Ruler photos are provided for approximate scale, not precise measurement. Please see the item description for the most accurate measurements of a piece.
We occasionally use jewelry props or boxes to aid our photography. Unless listed in the description, these are not included with purchase.
Jewelry Alterations
In certain instances, we are able to offer alteration services for our jewelry such as ring sizing, shortening of chains, removing links for bracelets, etc. Please contact us via email at info@iconstyle.net to discuss any alterations and their estimated cost.
3. EXCHANGE POLICY
Icon Style does not issue refunds. We do offer exchanges on merchandise not purchased through Layaway for store credit. For an item to be eligible for exchange, an email must be sent to info@iconstyle.net notifying us of the exchange and the item must be shipped back to us postmarked within 3 days of receipt of your order. Items purchased through our Layaway Policy (detailed in section 4 below) are final sale and not eligible for exchange.

All items that are returned for an exchange must be returned in the same condition that the items were sold in. Items may not be returned to Icon Style if they have been damaged or modified in any way. This includes but is not limited to modifications such as removing the aged patina. Any pieces that are modified, customized or altered per client request, either through Icon Style or a third party, are not eligible for exchange. This includes but is not limited to ring sizings, shortening of chains, etc. We hold the right to deny an exchange if the merchandise returned does not meet our policy requirements.
The buyer is responsible for any return shipping costs for exchanges. Icon Style is not responsible for return shipping costs. We suggest you insure items when shipping exchanges to protect you from the cost of any potential damage during shipping, and we are happy to discuss shipping options when you reach out to us about your exchange. All sales are final after 3 days from receipt by the customer.
Exchanges will be processed as soon as possible, please allow up to 3-5 days from our receipt of your returned item for store credit to be issued in the form of a gift certificate.
4. GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates do not expire. Gift certificates may be used online or in our New York City shop.
5. LAYAWAY POLICY
Icon Style offers a layaway plan for purchases. Purchases and payments made through Layaway are final sale and may not be exchanged or refunded. Please read and understand the Layaway Policy outlined below, and clarify any terms with Icon Style before you enter into a Layaway Plan agreement. Layaway purchases will be shipped within 3-5 days of receipt of final payment.

*Down payment applies to the percentage of the order total, including shipping and tax.
6. PRICING
All prices are firm. Icon Style does not offer discounts on any merchandise.
7. TAX
Orders are processed from New York, NY. Residents of New York by law must pay state tax on their purchase (8.875%). Tax will not be charged for dealers with proper proof of tax identification number, and a completed Resale Certificate ST-120, which can be e-mailed to us at info@iconstyle.net.
8. SHIPPING
Orders are processed within 3-5 business days, Tuesday through Sunday, excluding holidays. Shippi ng rates are determined based on the total value of the order so as to cover the costs of insuring the purchase to protect both us and our customers from any damages during transit.
Domestic Shipping
We ship via USPS Priority Mail with required signature for purchases under $1000. All items are shipped with insurance. The customer will receive a shipment confirmation email with the shipping tracking number. Orders over $1000 are shipped USPS Registered Mail™ with Return Receipt because it is the safest method to ship high-value parcels, but delivery estimates for USPS Registered Mail™ vary and it may take up to two weeks for an order to arrive at its destination. Please contact us directly via email if you need an order over $1000 delivered on a short deadline.

International Shipping
If you'd like us to ship something internationally, please contact us via email at info@iconstyle.net for a shipping quote. Due to varying conditions on insurance rates depending on country, we can currently only offer international shipping on a case-by-case basis. Customs and duty will be the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping Insurance
All products shipped by Icon Style will be fully insured. Insurance costs will be included in shipping fees.
Damaged or Modified Items
We ship all items fully insured. If they are damaged in shipping, a claim must be filed with the shipper. Do not return items that have been damaged in shipping as this will void the insurance. Items may not be returned to Icon Style if they have been damaged or modified in any way. If you have any questions about how to file a claim, please contact us and we will be happy to direct you to the appropriate party.
9. YOUR PRIVACY
This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from iconstyle.net (the “Site”).
Personal Information We Collect
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. 10. LEGAL
Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Icon Style.
Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or services to any person, geographic region or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis.
All content on the site and prices for our products are subject to change without notice, at the sole discretion of us. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or service made on this site is void where prohibited. In the unlikely event that you have ordered an item that is no longer available or that is delayed, we will notify you as soon as possible via email or telephone.
By using this website you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the terms and conditions of use outlined in this document which govern your interactions with our business and this website. By accessing or using any part of the site, you agree to be bound by these Policies.
