English 9k Gold Faceted Lemon Quartz Spinner Fob circa 1910
$650.00 / Sold Out
This fantastic faceted fob makes our heads spin with delight. A fabulous find from the Victorian era, the lemon quartz fob scintillates as it rotates. This prismatic quartz has three flat sides framed with fancy faceting. 9k gold stationary curb links arc over the faceted lemon quartz. A bale with a jump ring bedecks the top of the piece allowing easy attachment to a chain. An opulent and entertaining bauble, you'll find yourself spinning this piece in your hands all day.
The fob is in very good antique condition. There are many minor scratches and flea bites to the faceted quartz from its many years of spinning in its frame (see photos). This spinner is hallmarked 9 and 375 indicating 9K gold. The second set of hallmarks is slightly less visible. We believe it to be an anchor indicating Birmingham and a K indicating 1909-1910. The lemon quartz is approximately 17mm high by 24mm wide. The entire fob is 1 3/8" high (including the jump ring) and 1 1/8" wide. Weighs 13.6 grams. Tested 9k.
